Every rider, pure pleasure or high level competitor, whether riding Western, English, or Trail, no matter their expertise or level of accomplishment, seeks to create a balanced and harmonious seat to become the very best rider they can on every horse they ride.

In this video seasoned, professional riding instructor Carol Bandy works with beginners to accomplished pros helping them fine-tune their riding making minor real-time adjustments that create instantly visible improvement. She talks through her observations and helps each pairing create a more harmonious partnership with simple adjustments in their hands, arms, legs down through their heels and toes. She points out how tiny changes in the rider’s position free up the horse’s motion and notes how it’s generally a fear of falling that creates tension in riders.

As each rider adopts the suggestions offered the change in their seat and the horse creates improvements the viewer can see and learn from. The cause and effect of seemingly minor aspects of hand and leg position give amazing results.
