Sue De Laurentis and Allen Pogue live at Red Horse Ranch in Dripping Springs, TX.

Sue and Allen collectively formed Imagine A Horse to bring Trick Horse Training into the 21st Century. They actively work with students, both human and equine from around the globe.

They share the ranch with up to 50 horses that they board for other folks as well as their own herd of Arabians, Andalusians, Lusitano/Arabian crosses and Gaited horses.

When the horse first allowed man on its back, our lot changed forever. The horse eased our struggle for subsistence and furthered our human society so much that it is almost beyond our capacity in this day and age to understand.  

Our love, admiration and desire for the horse may best be summed by this quote from Apocallypse, David H. Lawrence:

"How the horse dominated the mind of the early races!! You were a lord if you had a horse. Far back in our dark soul the horse prances...The symbol of surging potency and the power of movement, of action, in man."

While we wish to benefit horse owners and handlers by offering them methods to achieve a more fulfilling and truly outstanding relationship with their companion and working horses, we are also dedicated to in part repay the debt owed THE HORSE by mankind. We always say that "Horses are one of God's finest gifts to man" and we believe this with all of our hearts.

We dedicate our work first and foremost to our horses. They are our "patient soldiers." They are the beloved and valued individuals who time and again obey us willingly, so that you, our students, may learn.  We have been blessed with many outstanding horses, the first of whom was Hasan, our Arabian stallion. Hasan has served us well and we will surely spend our eternity with him and his herd.
